| Version 5 - do we need to recreate a set of policies for each tutor workstation, or is there a file which can be created / copied to quickly put a base set of policies into place? |

Many AB Tutor Control settings (e.g. configurations, groups, policies, etc.) are stored in the file ABControl.dat. This file can be copied into each AB Tutor Control folder, or, better still, stored on a shared network drive accessible to all Tutor Control machines.
If you store ABControl.dat on a network drive, you need to tell each Tutor Control program the location of this file by setting a command line parameter to the AB Tutor Control icon.
Syntax: -p <path to abcontrol.dat>
e.g. "C:\Program Files\ABControl\ABControl.exe" -p "s:\shared files"
Note: you just specify the path not the ABControl.dat file and if the path contains spaces, you must enclose the path in double-quotes.
