Symptom:
When you launch the AB Tutor Control program, you get the following warning message:
WARNING: The ABClient program is currently running on this computer. This can cause the 'Find Computers' to fail when scanning your network for remote workstations. You will still be able to connect to computers specified in classroom groups or via direct IP addresses.
Would you like to temporarily close the AB Client program now?
Note: it will automatically re-start when you exit this program.
[Scroll down if necessary]

Cause:
You will always get this message when you launch the AB Tutor Control program IF you have installed both the client component AND the tutor component on the same machine. The reason for this is that if the client is running on a machine at the same time as the tutor program is running, it will prevent the tutor program from scanning the network to 'Find' workstations running the client.
We would recommend that you always click on 'Yes' - this will close down the client program and allow the tutor to scan the network to find clients. Please note that the client will automatically re-start when the tutor program is closed down.
