To block flash files, we would recommend that you create two policies and merge them into a single, flash blocking policy group.

1. Create a website blocking policy

- Make sure that you have administrative rights to AB Tutor
- On the menu bar, go to Policies, Policy Manager
- Select 'Add new...'
- Select 'Block Web Sites' and click on Next
- Call the policy 'Block Flash websites'
- Allow access to All sites, except....
- Add all the flash extension websites you would like to block.  We suggest, the following, but recommend that you first check to make sure that no new flash file extensions have been added.

- Click on Finish

2. Create a flash player application block

- Make sure that you have administrative rights to AB Tutor
- On the menu bar, go to Policies, Policy Manager
- Select 'Add new...'
- Select 'Block Applications' and click on Next
- Call the policy 'Block Flash player'
- Select 'Allow All applications, except....'
- Click on 'By App Title/Path...
- Type in "*flash*" as an exception.
- Click on finish.

3. Create a flash group of policies

- Make sure that you have administrative rights to AB Tutor
- On the menu bar, go to Policies, Policy Manager
- Select 'Add new...'
- Select 'Group of Policies' and click on Next
- Call the policy 'Block Flash'
- Select the two policies you have created (use Ctrl Click to select two policies) and click on Finish

Apply this policy to block Flash.
