It would be useful to have a command line switch that could be used in conjunction with -g which either disables the Find button or limits the Find scope to the group specified in -g. The reason for this is that it's useful to browse groups as an administrator, but teacher users (here at least) only ever need to control the room (group) they are logged in. The benefit of this is that it prevents inadvertent control of another group. It also limits the number of potential computers/users affected in the event of a stolen/discovered teacher's password being used by a malicious user.
Another request would be to have customisable buttons that are linked to policy actions. An example would be a "block internet policy". You could then have an "internet on" button which links to "block internet policy"=clear, and another "internet off" button which links to "block internet policy"=enforce. |
