Our school is currently trialling the latest AB tutor on 4 classes with a notion to buy. On some of the teacher machines we have multiple monitors in use with the second monitor primarily used for monitoring students using Netop. With this setup we are having problems using the AB tutor show control to demonstrate on the teacher primary screen. When show is selected the student machines display two screens side by side with the secondary screen displaying the screen background only and the primary screen drawing a random pattern of white dots on a black background which seems to follow the mouse movement. We are therefore unable to demonstrate any processes to the students, a process that is quite important to our staff.

My question is does AB tutor support multiple monitors at present and if so has anybody else come across this problem. Apart from this problem we are more than impressed with the program compared with Netop school.

In version 5, we've improved the multi-monitor support. There is an option under 'Tools' - 'Setting' - 'View/Show' tab to 'Show contents of both monitors' (default off - ie. only show primary monitor).

I hope this answers your question.
