We would prefer to use the Block Internet Access policy as apposed to the Block Web Sites Policy, but when the kids try and go on the Internet through IE, Explorer hangs instead of having a 'you are not authorised to run this application' message.

Is there anyway that a 'you are not authorised to run this application' message could be added to this policy in the next update?

p.s. So far AB has been excellent, and we are really impressed with the product and the way your repsond to our messages. Keep up the good work!

Hello

We will investigate this, however, the Internet Block policy blocks port connections at a low level and so it's very difficult to display a massage. IE does not 'hang' it will eventually just 'timeout' trying to connect.

I am able to use the internet blocking option with no problem. My problem comes when I try to set a list of allowed websites like www.bbbc.co.uk. This does not seem to work at all. Is there a problem with IE 7 and AB ? I havent got any IE 6 machines to test it on any more.

I have now confirmed this is a problem with IE 7 as I tested it with IE 6. Is there some workaround for this or a fix coming?
