Version 3.8 is mainly a bug fix update. If you feel that these fixes/minor additions below do not affect you, then it's not necessary to update from version 3.7.
New Command to Remove Computers from the list has been added under the 'School' menu. This is useful for removing disconnected or shutdown machines from the computer list.
When 'Sending Files' and you send a Windows shortcut (.LNK) file, the system finds and sends the actual file the shortcut points to. This was done deliberately, but it ment that you couldn't send any shortcut files to the client. This has been changed so it will now send the LNK file not the EXE file.
The Default sort order for Computer name in the list has changed from descending to ascending
Bug fixed: Registry Policies did not work correctly on Windows XP machines.
Bug Fixed: Icon positions not saved when positioning them on a classroom image.
New Experimental 'Power On' Feature added. It is possible to send a command to a powered off remote PC that will boot it up. This feature very much depends on the PC hardware and BIOS settings and can be tricky to enable. This is why it's been added under a hidden key command (Ctrl+P) until we are confident that it is a viable function.
