Demonstrating difficulties called for action

The Royal Grammar School in High Wycombe had identified that their teachers needed more control over what the students were accessing while the teaching was taking place. In some of their computer suites, they did not have access to LCD projectors, so when the teachers wanted to demonstrate anything to the class, they found it extremely difficult. So they needed a way to demonstrate their lesson steps so that students do not have to move away from their workstations which loses valuable lesson time and causes disruption.

The Royal Grammar School is a large secondary school with just over 1400 students, and 100 staff. The school has 5 ICT suites, each suite contains at least 26 computers.

A whole lot smoother...

Since installing AB Tutor Control, the school has found that its IT classes seem to be running a lot smoother, as the teacher has total control of the class. It is also quieter in the classrooms, as the students and teachers use AB Tutor's Chat facility when students need any assistance and help from the teacher - meaning less noise or possible disruption to other students, ensuring the class keeps more on task.
